• 18th Anniversary of Palau-Philippines Diplomatic Relations

    The Celebration of the 18th Palau-Philippines Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations held on July 15, 2015, was to simply honor the years of friendship dispite the  challenges we face among ourselves and to promote responsible and environment consious Businesses to assist build Palau and the Pacific as a region as sustainable, clean destinations with kids as our targeted consumers who will reap the real benefits in the future and beyond..

    The occasion turned-out to be a success and was well attended as expected by more than 200 students, teachers and parents from nearby Malate Catholic School. A school the embassy hopes to recognize as one Community Group, which we hope would continue assisting as our development partner. Also present at the event were representatives from Palau's Business Cooperatives and gracious Contributors of the event, such as St Luke's Medical Center, Palau Shipping Company, Kosmic, Philips, Pan Pacific, MRH Global Services and Royal Cargo among other friends and Renewable Energy partners like the Embassy of the Netherlands, represented by H.E. Marion Derckx.

    The "Walk" dubbed as the "GreenMile Walkathon" began with an early registration at 5:30 a.m. and ended at the front of the Embassy around 8:00 a.m. in time for the flag ceremony and messages delivered by our key speakers, the Honorable Billy G. Kuartei, Minister of State and Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, Honorable Linglingay Lacanlale. (Walk Trail along Roxas) 

    The Embassy is indeed grateful for the attendance of the Honorable Noah Kemesong, Congressman, Palau House of Delegates, HE Martin Slabber, Ambassador of South Africa to the Philippines, Honorable Johnson Tan, representing Rotary Manila, Mr. Wilbur Ngirakemerang of Palau Shipping (Koror) and, the General Manager of Manila Pan Pacific Mr Richard Masselin and New Members of the eCorp Family, HC Scott J. Nelson and supportive Staff members of Kosmic Inc. and of course our Colleagues from the Department for their contributions in making the celebration a memorable and meaningful anniversary for the future of our children and their wellbeing.

    The Embassy is confident that the next Green-Mile will bring even Greener Success and Smiles to the faces of our future Investments!..
